Natrang's actor Bhanu Uday to play lead on Star Plus

JAMMU, Jan 6: Bhanu Udhay Goswami, a brilliant actor of Natrang Jammu is going to appear in the lead role of IPS Ranjan Chittoda in the serial 'Rudrakaal' on Star Plus. The story of tele-serial 'Rudrakaal' revolves around the story of an honest Police officer who sets examples of seeking challenges in establishing a role model of professional policing. Bhanu Udhay Goswami underwent intense training and did in depth research to portray this challenging character. Natrang Director Balwant Thakur while complimenting Bhanu Uday said that this will be the most memorable show of him as Bhanu is an immensely talented actor and we all are proud of him.
Bhanu Uday started his journey from Natrang Jammu as a child actor and played lead roles in Natrang's acclaimed plays 'Aap Hamaare Hain Kaun and 'Mere Hisse Ki Dhoop Kahan Hai' under the direction of Balwant Thakur. Before leaving for National School of Drama, New Delhi where he specialized in Acting, Bhanu had already done appreciable work in the plays Kanjoos, Rang Badalti Duniyan and Charan Dass Chor.
Describing details of his acting journey Natrang Director Balwant Thakur informed that Bhanu Uday shot to fame from his role of Aryan Khanna in STAR One's television series, Special Squad. Born to Anil Goswami (Former Home Secretary of India) and Neeru Goswami (Senior Lawyer), Bhanu had his early education in Jammu. Bhanu has proudly acted in various films named Lakshya (2004), Dhokha (2007), Machhli Jal Ki Raani Hai (2012) Unfreedom (2014) and Monsoon (Indo-Us Production) Manto and Ludo and has also done many television shows named Special Squad (2005) as Aryan Khanna, Har Kadam Par Shaque (Specials @ 10 on Sony TV, 2009), Ek Tha Rusty (2012-2013) as Rusty, Hamari Sister Didi (2014) as Dr Karan, Choker Bali (Rabindranath Tagore's stories on Epic channel, 2015) as Mahendra, Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai (2016) as Rajram Gaekwad, Ek Thi Nayaka, Meri Awaz Hi Pehchaan Hai, and Saam Dhaam Dhand Bhed.'
