Seven days NSS camp on "cleanness drive" concludes

KALAKOTE, Mar 1: NSS unit of GDC Kalakote has organized seven days NSS camp on Cleanness Drive" in college premises and also at the newly adopted building of the school education under the supervision of programme convener Shezad Ahmed, and co-convener Marvi Batool Sofi.
In this camp fifty four volunteers participated. The programme started on 22th of Feb and came to close on Monday evening (1st march, 2021). In this camp various activities were performed. By keeping the spirit of NSS the volunteers participated wholeheartedly.
The main theme of this camp was 'Cleanness Drive'. Besides this activity, other cultural activities were also performed in the camp like singing, game playing etc. The subsequent schedule of the activities in the camp, in the morning, NSS prayer was performed on every day, for keeping body warm the normal exercises for students were kept.
Afterward, volunteers were allowed for physical activities, following then refreshment was also given. After refreshment student were addressed by different staff members. In this session, attempt has been made to deliver lectures to students so that moral value can be attributed among students. Many students also showed their talents in different cultural activities.
At the end of the camp the valedictory function was held where Dr Romesh Kr. Gupta Principal of the college chaired the Programme. He also exhorted the volunteers that NSS helps the individual to infuse a sense of love and moral responsibility towards the nation and also enhance leadership qualities, fraternity, team spirit, risk taking capacity amongst the students.
