Jammu Mar 25: JSK Strikers, Poonch Panthers and Rawi Tawi Warriors registered win by defeating their rivals in the ongoing Zonal Level T20 Cricket Cup for the Under-19 boys Jammu which is being organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu under the Civic Action Programme of J&K Police at KC Sports Club.
Today in the first match , JSK Strikers defeated UR Superkings by 46 runs. Batting first JSK Strikers scored 186 runs for the loss of all wickets in the allotted 20 overs match. Kartik Sharma 62 runs, Aditiya Sharma 38 runs and Rohan Gill 29 runs were the main scorers. From the bowling side Taqshdeep Singh and Sarabjeet Singh took 2 wickets each.In reply UR Super kings could not chased the target and managed to score 120 runs thus lost the match by 46 runs. Rahil 44 runs and Nakshatar 31 runs were the main scorers. From the bowling side Dhruv parmar, kartik and Abay Tondon took 2 wickets each. Kartik Sharma was declared man of the match for his brilliant alround performance. In another match, Poonch Panthers defeated UR Daredevils by 27 runs. Batting Poonch Panthers scored 127 runs in 16 overs by losing 6 wickets with Toheed 41 runs and Kafeel 25 runs.From the bowling side Ishant took 2 wickets while Udhay took 1 wicket.
In reply UR Daredevils could not chased the target and managed to score 100 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 16 overs match thus lost the match by 27 runs. Udhay 23 runs and Naseer 17 runs were the main scorers . From the bowling side Toheed and Ilias took 3 wickets each. Toheed from Poonch Panthers was declared man of the match for his brilliant performance in batting and bowling.
In another match Rawi Tawi Warriors defeated UR Daredevils by 11 runs. Batting first Rawi Tawi Warriors made 94 runs by losing all wickets in 16 overs. Kawalpreet Singh 39 runs and Gurmeet 12 runs were the main scorers for Rawi Tawi warriors. From the UR daredevils Udhay took 3 wickets, Ashank and pankaj took 2 wicket each.
In reply UR Daredevils could not chased the target and bundled out for 85 runs by losing all wickets thus lost the match by 11 runs.Jasbeer made 32 runs while ashank contributed 15 runs for his team.
From the bowling side Shubam and Kawalpreet took 3 wickets each while Vishal took 2 wickets. Kawalpreet Singh declared man of the match. The matches were officiated by Ashok Kumar, Sanjay and Sabestian.
