Complete all inheritance mutations before April 15: DDC Chairman

JAMMU, Mar 25: District Development Council, Chairman, Jammu District, Bharat Bhushan Bodhi today directed Revenue Department to complete all inheritance mutations before April 15 of entire Jammu District.
Chairing a Janta Darbaar at Jagdamba Palace Purkhoo, the DDC Chairman took serious note of the callous attitude of officials of Revenue Department for not showing their serious concern towards the problems of general public. He directed the officials of Revenue Department to fix the priorities for every work which has to be completed within stipulated time and further directed to complete all inheritance mutations before April 15 of entire Jammu District.
The DDC Chairman warned that there will be no laxity in public work and strong action will be initiated against officials for dereliction in duties.
The DDC Chairman said “Democracy is such a form of government wherein each and every process which decides the present and future of its citizens should be transparent. The government is accountable to the general public. So, with this increases the responsibility taken up by the ruling party and thus they take each and every step cautiously. This leaves very little room for errors,” he said.
The Chairman asserted BJP lead Government in the Centre under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to resolve public problems and issues. He said Modi government is working hard for the betterment of public and uplift poor class so that people can get all the benefits provided by the government.
Earlier, the DDC Chairman listened to problems of public arrived from various villages of Raipur Domana Constituency regarding road connectivity, water supply, electricity, etc. Vice Chairman DDC, Jammu, Suraj Singh, administration staff from various departments were present during the Janata Darbar.
The general public expressed resentment against the working of Revenue Department and expressed disappointment specifically against all Patwaris who least bothered about the issues of general public while performing their official duties. The issues of mutations, Gardhouri of land which has to be done by involving public were also raised in the camp.
The chairman assured them to resolve all of them soon. He also directed the concerned officials to work hard to provide basic necessities to the people of the area.
He asserted that it is our foremost duty to listen to public problems and timely follow up to get them solved.
Prominent among those who were present in the Janata Darbar included Ashok Kerni, Mandal Pardhan Raipur Domana; Omi Khajuria State President Kisan Morcha JKUT, Rakesh Singh, Narinder Singh, Babu Ram, Narinder Singh Jamwal , Raman Daroch , Pawan Slathia, Sarpanch Pallavi Verma, Sarpanch Joginder Singh, Sarpanch Hari Saran, Panchs and BJP workers.
