Shopkeepers of Bhatadhurian accuse Naib Tehsildar of harassment | | | Rajesh Tandon Early Times Report
Poonch, June 22: Shopkeepers of Bhatadhurian have accused Naib Tehsildar of harassment by demanding money for keeping their shops open for extra hours. Angered over the behaviour of Naib Tehsildar, the shopkeepers staged protest demonstration and raised slogans against the revenue official for asking for money to allow them to open their shops for extra hours. They demanded inquiry into the matter so that such officials should be taken to task. Sources informed that the family of revenue officials have two NGO and have managed to get two ambulances, which are lying parked in his house. The locals demanded that the inquiry should be held about the status of ambulances. SHO Gursai reached the spot and tried to pacify the protestors. When contacted the SHO Sursai said that police have taken note of the allegations labeled by the shopkeepers and appropriate action will be taken. Meanwhile BMO has said that NGO are registered and the status of ambulances will be investigated. |
