Hold talks with migrant KPs, demands AIMCCC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 22: A meeting of AIMCCC was held at Jagti township under the presidentship of organization chief Desh Ratten Pandita. While speaking in the meeting Desh Ratten said that it was important for union govt to call a meeting of Kashmiri Pandits as they are the sufferers of militancy and as victims living a life of refugees in several parts of the country since 90s. He said that without talking with camp people, who are migrants all talks are useless, KPs are nationalists and to make nationalists people strong especially in JKUT govt needs to solve KPs’ pending problems, such as rescue of land orchids, land of shrines, passing of Temples Bill, and release of our balance ex-gratia pending since 90s. Desh Ratten Pandita further said that we have only five-six organizations and talk to KPs is easier than people of Kashmir where parties are unnumbered. AIMCCC supports Delimitation Commission and we demand reservation of assembly seats for KPs. Those who were present in the meeting included M.M Kanth, JL Raina, M L Bhoni, P N Jalali, Kamal Koul, Vinoo Misri and others. |
