Most individuals and terrorist groups operating in India have linkages with groups and agencies across the border, mainly in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir, government told the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
Replying to questions in the House, Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal said Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), Harkat-ul-Jihad-e-Islami (HUJI), Hizbul Mujahideen were among the terror groups having international networks.
Security and intelligence agencies closely monitor the activities of such groups and networks and relevant information and inputs in this regard are regularly shared with the state governments, he said.

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Tuesday demanded that the central government should take appropriate action against the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, (UNAIDS), for putting up an Indian map on its website depicting Jammu and Kashmir as a separate entity.
RJD MP Raghunath Jha raised the issue in the Lok Sabha. He showed the house a copy of the map of India posted on the UNAIDS website in which Jammu and Kashmir has been shown as a separate entity.

Renowned lawyer of state, advocate Sunil Hali is likely to be elevated as a Judge of Jammu and Kashmir High Court.
On recommendations of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court, the name of Advocate Sunil Hali has reportedly been cleared by the Supreme Court Authority and forwarded to the Ministry of Law and Justice. His warrant of appointment may be issued shortly.
Adv Sunil Hali born on February 22, 1951 at Srinagar passed BSc in 1971 through Jammu University and also passed LLB in the year 1973 from Jammu University.

After a day of thinking and exploration of options, the Police have formally registered against the Minister of State for Technical Education and Rural Development Javed Mustafa Mir for the offences amounting to endangering life of others.
Mir’s gun had accidentally went off at the airport on Monday while he was about to board a flight. The FIR was registered against the Minister, who belongs to the Peoples Democratic Party, after an airport employee lodged a formal complaint with the Police for causing injury to her.
