| Good Governance Not Autonomy or Self Rule to be main theme of RTC | | | | Jammu, April 23,
Though the third roundtable Conference, being held in Delhi on Tuesday, is to deliberate on the recommendations of four working Groups, constituted by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the cherished idea of greater autonomy of National Conference and that of the PDP’s self-rule may be placed on the backburner because the recommendations of the fifth working group on centre-state relations has not submitted its recommendations to the Government.
However, leaders from the National Conference and the PDP may not miss an opportunity in raising these demands besides it Mufti Mohd.Sayeed is likely to rake up the demand for withdrawal of troops from within the state.
The roundtable Conference will be represented by most of the leaders belonging to the mainstream political parties. NEW DELHI, Apr 23: A fresh message has just gone out to Washington, making it clear that the government of India will not be pressured on the US nuclear deal. According to official sources, New Delhi will not be hurried into concluding the much-talked-about nucledar cooperation deal with the United States. Washington has been reported to be frustrated over an impasse in negotiations.

| | | | Summer timing in Courts changed from May 1 | | | | JAMMU, APRIL 23 2007
Registrar General Mr. GH. Mohi-ud-Din Dar of State High Court has issued notification for change of time for summer session with effect from May 1, 2007.
According to the notification High Court Wing Jammu will function from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm, High Court Srinagar wing from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. The summer timings in the Subordinate Courts of Jammu Province, except Bhaderwah, Kishtwar, Gandoh and Banihal, will be from 8.00 am to 1.30 pm while in Subordinate Courts of Kashmir Province and Bhaderwah, Kishtwar, Gandoh and Banihal the timings will be from 10.00 am to 4.30 PM.
