Kunal Shrivatsa JAMMU, June 9: Notwithstanding tall claims of the University of Jammu (JU) of being NAAC accredited 'A' Grade University and India's first ISO 9001:2000 certified University, the Varsity, it seems, is still living in a 'dark age' as it has failed to upload recruitment forms for different faculty positions as well as administrative posts advertised on June 5 and 7 respectively in a section of the media. The JU had invited applications for filling up posts in teaching departments vide Advertisement No Adm/C&R/14/1049-1110, dated 04-06-2014 and for various administrative posts vide Advertisement No Adm/C&R/14/1111-1160, dated 06-06-2014, wherein it was conveyed to the prospective candidates that they can either collect the prescribed forms personally from the Office of Assistant Registrar (Forms & Stationery), University of Jammu, Jammu or it can be downloaded from the University website. Avinash Azad Jammu, June 9: Patients at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu are facing grave inconvenience as the only Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine has developed technical snag due to erratic power supplies. MRI is a highly sophisticated machine for advance diagnosis of functions of brain, spinal cord and other vital organs of the body.
