JAMMU, Nov 1: In order to replace worn-out span of Y-phase from gantry structure to tower location No.1 of 220 KV Sarna-Hiranagar Transmission line, the power supply to Kathua, Dayalachak, Hiranagar, Samba, Bishnah, Billawar, Mahanpur and part of industrial area being fed from Grid station BB-II shall remain affected on November 04, 2012 from 8 a m to 12 noon.
Meanwhile to carry our relay testing by Commercial Division Jammu besides some emergent works of 132/33/11 KV grid station, the shutdown to Bari-Brahamna Industrial area, Kartholi, Vijaypur, Jakh, Narbada feeder, Birpur industrial complex shall remain affected on November 04, 2012 from 08.00 hours to 14.00 hours.
In order to carry out the preventive maintenance of equipments and to replace the worn out 132 & 33 KV bus bars jumpers, isolators, jaws etc of 132/33 KV grid station Janipur, the power supply to the areas fed through New Janipur, New Secretariat, Bhalwal-I & II, Muthi and Sheetli Receiving Station shall remain affected on November 04, 2012 from 7 a m to 1 p m.
To carry out the preventive maintenance of equipment and to replace the worn out/damaged jumpers/droppers in 132 KV and 33 KV yards of 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Udhampur, the power supply to Udhampur, Army, Ramnagar, Chenani, Air Force, Kishtwar (DHP Kishtwar), Thathri, Mattan, Wanpoh, Chanderkote and Chenani Power House shall remain affected on November 04, 2012 from 7 a m to 12 noon.
Similarly, in order to complete the remaining works for commission of new 50 MVA, 132/33 KV power transformer at 220/132/33 KV, Grid Station Gladni, the power supply to the areas of Gandhinagar, Nanaknagar, Trikutanagar, part of Old Jammu City, Channi Himmat, Sainik Colony, Bathindi, Transport Nagar etc shall remain affected on November 04, 2012 from 7 a m to 2 p m.
In order to erect beam structure of 33 KV new line bay and repairing and maintenance of isolators of 132/33 KV bays at Grid Station Gangyal, the power supply to Gangyal Industrial Complex, Trikutanagar, Greater Kailash, Seora, Babliana and their adjoining areas shall remain affected on November 04, 2012 from 0900 hours to 1300 hours.
