| 92.7 Big FM organizes 'Sajna Hai Mujhe' on Karava Chauth | | | early times report
Jammu, Nov 1 :Karva Chauth is one of a special day for married women when they fast whole day and pray for the longevity of husband's life. As part of the celebrations woman dress up in their best bridal dresses and applying mehandi on their arms and hands.
So to make the day more special and memorable for the woman listeners of Jammu, 92.7 Big FM in association with Manik Jewellers, Gandhi Nagar organized 'Sajna hai Mujhe' activity in which free Mehendi stall and lot of fun activities and games were played and gifts distributed to the participants at the premises of Manik Jewellers, Gandhi Nagar. Woman, girls turned up in large numbers in their best and decorated hands and enjoyed the games. The main attraction was tambola with Rj Pallavi, and Rj Sarang and the other members of 92.7 Big FM team which was highly received by the woman participants and they won many gifts also.
Shweta Gupta, who had come to put Mehendi for the day, said, "There is one day left for Karva Chauth, Mehandi artists and beauty parlour owners have a busy schedule, with customers going in for bookings weeks before the festival. The rates of the mehandi are going up and in such a condition a beautiful mehendi that too free of cost, there can be no better gift than this on such a special occasion and I really want to thank 92.7 Big FM for making this festival more graceful and memorable."
Tamanna, a corporate employee, said, "This week was very hectic as festive season is on and being employed I couldn't find time for myself to shop and then specially go to market to decorate my hands with mehandi but it was just a dream come true for me which was just possible because of 92.7 Big FM, I was just going back home and got to know about the free mehandi camp and the mehandi artists are applying great designs now I am happy and it is a beautiful surprise for my husband too. Moreover, I won a gift in Tambola full house also."
