| Jodhamal School felicitates students excelling at State, National Level | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 2: In a special assembly today, Jodhamal Public School management felicitated its students for excelling at various recently held Inter School, Inter District, State and National meets in different sports events. In the National School Chess Championship held in Delhi, Angad Singh brought laurels to the school while Hardik Khajuria and Stuti Kuthiala bagged Gold state level swimming competition. In the Inter School Debate under the aegis of Power Grid Coorporation of India Ltd the best Speaker for the motion as well as Best Interjector was bagged by Nayan Vashistha another student from Jodhamal with Deepanshu Bayotra. In the PCRA Painting competition organized by World Wild Life Fund (WWF) Samridhi won second prize at State Level while third was bagged Ananya. In the recently concluded Inter School Sahodaya Atheltic Meet at Sainik School Nagrota, the seven member team from Jodhamal clinched different medals in various events. Arjun Sharma and Jesica took away the Gold for the prestigious 100 meter sprint whereas Mahima Chaudhary won the Gold in the Shot Put whereas Arjun Sharma also clinched Silver in the 400 Mtr Hurdle Race. Meanwhile a team of Fahad Mir, Arjun Sharma, Sparsh Kotwal and Ayush Khajuria bagged the Silver medal in the 4X100 mtr. Relay. Pertinent to mention the in recently held JK Mock United Nations (JKMUN) at Sahodaya Complex, the model and the Profile of Republic of Azarbaizan prepared by Jodhamal Students was appreciated and team comprising of Akanksha Sharma, Anandita Kuthiala and Soha Manhas bagged the highest commendation for the Delegate Akanksha Sharma. Present on the occasion were Vice Principal Rohini Aima, CCA Coordinator Nandini Bakshi, HOD Social Science Bhawana Madan, Painting teacher Chandra Shaekhar, Deepika Ibekule, Swimming Coach Pooja Basan, Atheletic Coach Sheetal, Skating Coach Ankush Gupta and the staff and students of the school. Earlier Principal, Trilok Singh Bist announced the achievements of the students who brought laurels to the school in different Co-Curricular and Extra Curricular Activities at all fronts and congratulated the students and faculty members for their hard work. |
