Dogri Film "Reet" screened at JU

Jammu, Nov 2 : The Post Graduate Department of Dogri, University of Jammu in collaboration with Dept of ...Students Welfare , Office of General zorawar Singh Auditorium Complex, Jammu Links and Dogri Bal Manch, Jammu screened Dogri Feature Film " REET" in the General Zorawar Singh Auditorium .. Prof. Mohan Paul Singh Ishar, Vice-Chancellor, who was the chief guest on the occasion, congratulated the Dogri Department and others for organizing such type of event. He said that such events promote the culture and language of a region and Jammu University is ready to appreciate such type of endeavors.
Earlier, the artists cum technicians of the film who were involved in the production process of REET were felicitated by Prof Ishar. Ridhima Singh as Lead Actress, Meenu Kamal for Make-Up, Kusum Tickoo for Choreography, Taranjit Singh for Editing, Amarjit Singh for Art Direction, Rajesh Khajuria for Cinematography, Rajneesh Gupta for Dialogues, Bishan Singh 'Dardi' for Lyrics, Arvind Kumar for Music Direction, Pankaj Khajuria as Director and Producer of the film were given trophies.
Later,Pankaj Khajuria who is also the lead actor of the film expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the function. Prof. Shiv Dev Singh Manhas HOD Dogri, thanked the audience for turning up in huge number to witness the dogri film "REET". Sapna Narania and Babita Devi , research scholars of the Department of Dogri ably conducted the program.
Among others Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Narinder Tripathi, Administrator Gen. Zorawar Singh Auditorium, Dr. Darshan Lal Chowdhary, Director Academic Staff College Prof. Archana Kesar, Professor Shiv Dev Manhas, H.O.D Dogri , Sidharth Dogra, Chief Editor, Jammu Links News, a galaxy of Professors from different departments of University of Jammu, officers, research scholars, students, non-teaching staff and a large number of academicians, intellectuals, prominent citizens of Jammu suburb were also present on the occasion.
