JAMMU, Nov 18 : Dr. Sunita Sharma a multiple literary, social and cultural luminary of J&K state who did Ph.D. in Music from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh (Chhatisgarh) on the topic of "Analystical Study of Traditional Music related with Duggar Culture"under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bhushan Lal Koul renowned musician of J&K State was conferred with "Sangeet Shree" - 2012 by the Nami Dogri Sanstha . The Art Foundation held an impressive programme at K. L. Sehgal Hall, Cultural Academy Complex, Jammu. Shri Ashwani Sharma Hon'ble MLA, Bishnah was the Chief Guest. Ravi Magotra Programme Head, Radio Kashmir, Jammu was the Guest of Honour. Shri D. C. Raina Former Advocate General, J&K was the Special Invitee. Prof. Savita Bakshi Additional Secretary, Cultural Academy, Jammu was the Special Guest. S. S. Anand Lehar Renowned Urdu Short Storey Writer, Poet & Sr. Advocate, Supreme Court of India Presided over the Function and Dogra Harish Kaila also shared the dais. Jagriti Shrivats read paper on the Contribution & Services rendered to the Society by Dr. Sunita Sharma. In his address ShriAshwani Sharma Hon'ble MLA, Bishnah said that Dr. Sunita Sharma is senior most in the field of Literature, Duggar Culture, Social Work and cultural fields of J&K State. He said music and literature and Music is bondage of brotherhood and it brings people nearShri Ravi Magotra while speaking on occasion lauded Artists' involvement in the Music and Duggar Culture and congratulated on her felicitation. Prof. Savita Bakshi who was Special Guest while speaking on the occasion requested the people of Jammu to preserve and flourish Dogri Culture speedly.
