Jammu, Nov 25: All J&K R.ET Teachers Forum would hold state level protest demonstration at Jammu on December 26. 2012 and go on indefinite hunger strike from December 27, 2012 in support of their long pending genuine demands if they are not conceded on or before December 20 disclosed provincial President Rajesh Singh Jamwal and State Vice President Younis Rahi on behalf of State President Vinod Sharma in a monthly meeting held at Exhibition Ground Jammu on Sunday in which a large number or ReTs and 'EVs representatives from all the districts of the state participated.
While speaking on the occasion Jamwal said that political advisor to Chief Minister. Devinder Singh Rana on October 18 had promised them at Srinagar to concede their genuine demands within ten days but more than a month has passed and nothing has been done to resolve their genuine demands which include :- immediate regularization or all Education Volunteers (F.VS) as general line teachers who have completed their seven years service in the department since March 2010 onwards, inclusion of live years RET period and 7 years EVS period for seniority benefits, old pension scheme in thvour of ReTs appointed before 01-01-2010. transfer policy in Favour of regularize ReT Teachers. provision of SRO-43 in favour of RE rs and EVs and issuance of formal order for enhancement of honorarium of ReTs from Rs 1500 per month to Rs 3000 per month as announced in the Assembly session in March this year. He said that the delaying tactics of the government has forced them to take agitation path and come on roads otherwise they have no intension to leave the schools who are fully dependent on ReTs. While speaking Younis Rahi appealed all the ReTs and EVs to participate in the said protest and hungers strike in large numbers so that their genuine demands would reach to the deaf ears of the government. Others who also spoke in the meeting included :- Sukesh Khajuria (State Secretary I.ekh Raj Parihar (District President Udhampur) . Pawan Sharma. Mohd Mustafa. Tariq Ahmed. Mohd Maqbool. Rajinder Shanna. Ali Mohd Daleep Singh. Mani Ram, Madan Gopal . Iqbal Ahmed, Saleem Mohd. Ajay Kumar. Vijay Kumar. Surinder Khajuria. Durga Dass. Ravi Sharma and Sudershan Singh etc.
