Jammu, Nov 25 : President of the National Mazdoor Conference Subash Shastri has expressed his concern over the continuance of pay anomalies of clerical cadre in the State and urged upon the State Chief Minister, Finance Minister and Principal Secretary Finance for immediately addressing most genuine demand of the affected employees without further delay. Addressing a well attended rally of NMC activists here today, Shastri said that clerical cadre of the State Govt. being the pillar of the administrative set up and this requires solving their problems and demands to the satisfaction of the cadre. Referring to the urgent need for setting up 7th pay commission in view of DA already touching 72% of basic pay / pension, Shastri stressed that announcement to this effect be made in the parliament during its ongoing winter session. Shastri demanded that the till the recommendations of 7thpay commission come into force ,20% interim relief be provided to the Central and the State Government employees and pensioners across the Country beside merger of 50 DA into basic pay/pension. The rally passed several resolutions on this occasion which included release of pending dues of motivators working in IWDP (Akhnoor) beside their regularization, issuance of regularization order of 180 daily wagers working in the Rural Development Department, enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs.300/- to Rs.1000/- per month and others The rally were addressed by Rajan Babu Khajuria, Rakesh Padha, Ashok Khajuria, Anil Singh Salthia, Sham Lal Sharma, Sukhdev Singh, Ram Lal Sharma, Bhupinder Singh, Mohan Lal Sharma, Karan Singh, Mohd Shafi, Barkat Ram, Subash Sharma, Komal Kishore, Surrinder Kumar ,Yog Raj, Ragupal, Madan Lal, Jentho Ram, Karnail Singh,Vijay Sharma, Vijay Bhagat, Girdhari Lal Bhagat, Dalip Bhagat, Sunil Kochhar and Sikander Bhagat and many others. |
