| Air Force Station celebrates Christmas | | |

Jammu, Dec 25: The ladies of Air Force Station Jammu hosted Christmas celebration with great fervour and gaiety under the whole hearted support of Mamata Patange, President AFWWA (Air Force Wife Welfare Association), (Local) and Air Cmde P E Patange, YSM VM, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force station Jammu. The whole atmosphere of the station was filled with joy - kids were decked up in colourful attires while others dressed as Santa and fairies. Carols rent the air and residents soaked into the yuletide spirit partying, dancing and digging into cakes with the family members and friends. The festivities began with a reading from the bible and recitation of different hymns and prayer songs. A grand Christmas tree, snow covered flowers and leaves and the snowman added colour and gaiety to the programme. All the children took part in carol singing and dancing. Children also participated in various competitions. Prizes were distributed to the winners by Mamta Patange. |
