| Lecture on Civil Defence held | | |

Kathua, Dec 25: A Lecture on Civil Defence was organized by NSS Units of Govt. Degree College, Kathua as a part of the series of activities during ongoing "NSS Seven Day's Special Camp" at Village Nihalpur. Kapil Sharma, Divisional Warden and Balwant Singh, Instructor Civil Defence, Kathua awared the NSS volunteers and villagers to protect themself from natural as well as manmade disaster. Meanwhile, the day started with the cleanliness drive at Govt. Middle School Nihalpur. A cultural programme was also performed by the volunteers. There were 80 NSS volunteers and large number of villagers present on the occasion. The programme was organized under the guidance of N.S.S. Programme officers Prof. Raj Kiran, Dr. Suram Singh and Prof. Naresh Sharma. |
