Rajouri, Feb 13 :A man was critically injured in forward border area of Jgander in district Rajouri today in a tragic mine blast.
Satpal Singh, son of Nanak Singh, aged 32 years, resident of village Sariya of Nowshera tehsil of Jammu & Kashmir sustained mine blast injury on his legs when he entered accidentally in the marked mine field close to the Line of Control in Jhangar area, Nowshera at around 5-30 pm, today.
The individual sustained mine blast injury on his legs when he accidentally stepped on a mine.
Satpal accidentally ente-red inside the marked area while he was trying to catch his cattle which were entered in the marked mine field close to the Line of Control.
He was immediately evacuated to Civil Hospital Nowshera by the local Army unit and his condition is stable while last report came in. |
