| Where are the self acclaimed Champions of 'Kashmir cause'? | | While Kashmiris face curbs, separatists enjoy life outside Valley | | Early Times Report ANANTNAG, Feb 15: While Kashmir continues to real under strict curfew clamped after the execution of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru, the separatists leaders, who stir up emotions of the Kashmiris by projecting themselves as the champions of Kashmir cause including Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Mohd Yasin Malik and others are enjoying life in Jammu, New Delhi and abroad issuing shutdown calls from the comforts of the cosy bedrooms of their palatial resorts outside the Valley. South Kashmir's Mirwaiz Qazi Ahmad Yasir, a well known separatist voice who played prominent role in instigating 2008 and 2010 agitations in Anantnag, reportedly fled from the Valley just a day after curfew was clamped in the Valley and is reportedly enjoying life in Jammu. Close associate of Qazi Ahmad Yasir, Moulana Ab Rashid Dawoodi also fled from the Valley and is enjoying life in Jammu. "I am in Jammu from last few days and I will be there on Tuesday," Moulana Ab Rashid Dawoodi, confirmed, who heads Tareek-i-Sawtul Awaliya and often talks and expresses view on Kashmir issue. Similarly, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Syed Ali Shah Geelani are in New Delhi amazingly issuing calendars for innocent Kashmiri people who are facing acute shortage of essentials. The hapless Kashmiris were struck between the hypocrisy of these separatist leaders and insensitivity of the security forces who have left behind their firearms but continue to carry their aggressive insensibility while dealing with those who hit roads in protest. |
