| Funds worth Rs 5 Cr elapsed courtesy negligence: MLA | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Kathua, Feb 15: The fund of five crore rupees gets elapsed due the negligence of ERA and contractor execution for the road project from Bani to Dagger and the road is still lying in worse condition said by Lal Chand, MLA Bani. He said that Bani to Dagger six kilometer road construction work still in doldrums inspite of being handed over to PWD from ERA since long and massive debris is accumulated on the road to cause the deterioration to the road for which to the people of the Bani are forced to face the hardships. While talking to the Early Times, XEN PWD said that the department has not been delivered any fund by the state government for the construction of the road from Bani to Dagger and even department has floated five times tender but no response has been given by the contractors which is also a major reason for delaying of the construction of road. MLA Lal Chand said I will definitely take this matter before the state government for the beginning of construction of six kilometer patch of road from Bani to Dagger. |
