| GGPEP organises training camp for farmers | | | | Jammu, Feb 16: Global Green Peace and Environment Protection (GGPEP), a NGO in collaboration with Command Area Department (CAD) of Agriculture Jammu organized a one day farmer's training camp on soil and water management at a Indo-Pak Border in Suchetgarh consistency. In a statement a spokesperson of GGPEP said the aim of the camp was to aware the tillers farmers, women, about the precious natural resources water and its management in the agriculture filed while irrigating crops from time to time and how to save it for the next generation. Roshan Lal Bhagat, a CAD member suggested farmers to use water as less as they can and get maximum yield. He stressed to the farmers to apply scientific technique while irrigating the fields. President GGPEP Devinder Choudhary said that food cannot be produced without water. "So it is very important to save the every drops of water," he said. |
