| NC's roaster system for public hearing a bluff: PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Rajouri, Feb 16: Taking strong exception of NC high commands 'roaster system' wherein the NC MLA's with ministerial berths have been instructed to remain stationed at the party headquarters in Srinagar and Jammu, Senior PDP leader Shahzad Khan simply termed it a bluff and alleged it indicates those who have no political affiliation with the party will not get any help. In a press statement issued today Shahzad said that it shows clearly the corrupt and selfishness of the NC government. It is nothing but brutal murder of democracy. "Stationing of such ministers to redress the grievances of the people means that the administrative system is defunct that you need to approach the political people for help. It also means that those who have no political affiliation with the party will not get any help, he added. Criticizing the present regime, Shahzad cited example of latest case of favortsim and nepotism and said that said that the situation at ground level is no better as Chief Education Officer in Rajouri was transferred and reposted within a day's gap. Further condemning the biasness of the NC led government he said that the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch have not been represented in the ministerial level in a substantial way. Referring to the case of installing sub standard material, he said this is just the tip of the ice berg and demanded probe in bungling into the various centrally sponsored developmental schemes including Bharat Nirman need to be verified and culprits booked.
