| Dy CM reviews progress of SSA, RMSA | | | early times report SAMBA, Feb 16: Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand chaired a high level meeting to review the implementation and progress registered under flagship programs of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) and Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), here today. While reviewing the performance under SSA, RMSA of district Jammu, Samba and Kathua the Deputy Chief Minister directed the department functionaries to work with utmost dedication for achieving good result in education sector. He stressed on framing of time bound transfer policy particularly for those working in hilly and remote areas and said that present government is committed to provide education to all especially to those living in rural and far flung areas. Project Director SSA Yasha Mudgal, Deputy Commissioner, Jammu Sanjeev Verma, Deputy Commissioner, Samba Mubrak Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Kathua Zahida Khan, Project Director RMSA and senior officers of Education department were present on the occasion. "Concerned functionaries of Panchayats can play a pivotal role in making people aware of various welfare programmes and development initiatives launched by the government for all round development and benefit of all sections of the society," he added. |
