| ITI daily rated workers stage protest outside Div Com office | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 16: To press the government for regularize all daily rated workers/casual labourers, J&K All Department ITI and non ITI daily rated workers Unified Front on Saturday staged protest demonstration in front of Divisional Commissioner office.
Hundreds of daily rated workers of various departments organized a protest demonstration amid sloganeering in favour of their demands. The daily rated workers of all the departments unanimously decided to constitute a united front of daily rated workers of all the departments under the banner of J&K All Departments ITI and Non ITI Daily rated/casual labour community united front.
Addressing the rally, State President J&K National Trade Union Front, Mohammad Gafoor Dar condemned the delaying policies of the government which has failed to full fill the commitment of 8th of July 2012.
He stressed upon the daily rated workers of the state to be united under the banner of united front for a decisive struggle so that the genuine issues would be settled once for all. Other prominent DRW union leaders who addressed the rally included Tanvir Hussain, Subash Chander, Chandan Singh, Manish Abrol, Ishfaq Ahmed, Ramesh, and others.
