| Prmy Wing BSF School organizes Annual Sports Meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 16: The primary wing of BSF Sr Sec School, Jammu organized its Annual Sports Meet 2012-13 at Hargobind Bhatnagar stadium in BSF campus. The sports meeting was attended by the faculty members and students from primary and other wings also who cheered a lot for the participants.
According to spokesperson of school the sports meet was organized with the sole aim of making children interested in physical activities.
Atleast 300 students participated in various sports activities organized as a part of the meet. Earlier the meet was declared open by the Headmistress of the school, Gayatri Kotwal. This was followed by the march past from the students of four Houses.
Finally the sports activities like 50mtrs,100mtrs and 200 mtrs races relay races, long & high jumps, discuss throw. Apart from these fun games like balloon bursting, banana eating, piggy back race were also held to under the guidance of PTI Rajender Singh. Concluding the day the winners of various events were awarded medals & certificates of participation. A panel of judges adjudged Vipin Choudhary & Stuti Gupta as best athletes in their respective categories.
