Jammu, Feb 16: The five days programme organized by the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School, for construction of content/textual material of disaster management for social study textbooks of 9th and 10th standard, concluded today.
As per press release, Director-Centre for Disaster Management Cell, University of Jammu, Environment Experts, Medical professionals and Lecturers/Masters/Teachers from department of School Education from both Jammu and Kashmir divisions were among the resource persons.
The 5 days Workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Chairman JKBOSE, while as it was coordinated by Ranjeet Singh Manhas, Academic Officer. During this Workshop, the experts developed textual material on the component of Disaster management to be incorporated in textbooks of social studies for 9th and 10th classes. The certificates of participation were awarded to the resource persons.
