Jammu, Feb 16: NYC today criticised state government for non issuance of formal order of engagement, here at Jammu.
As per press release, hundreds of members of NYC gathered outside the press club and shouted slogan against state government, demanding issuance order of their engagement.
While addressing the protestors, the State Joint Secretary, Sayeed Bakar Jafri, repeated NYC's demands vis-à-vis regulations of all 8000 Youth under a prefect policy by which their future NYC's can be secure. Conversion of Honorarium in to salary, Extension in the Salary and regularization of NYC's in the same department where they have completed two years. He requested the CM to personally intervene the matter and also announced divisional strike of NYC's on February 22.
Meanwhile, State Adviser, NYC, Mustaq Bhat said, "A permanent job is our right, as we were engaged on merit basis and not a back door entry."
District President, Jammu, Sunil Chouhan said that state government had assured them many times but nothing has been done so far on ground. |
