Jammu, Mar 7: KAS Officer Welfare Association today criticized the former Chief Secretary of J&K state, Madav Lal for his alleged biased and partisan role in managing the carders and distorting KAS seniority. According to press release, the field officers of Jammu province held a meeting at Jammu in which various issues pertaining to the KAS carders were discussed which includes the dispute pending regarding distorted KAS seniority list. Speaking on the occasion the speakers hailed appointment of Mohammad Iqbal Khandey as Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir State with the hope that he would streamline the distorted KAS list, vis-a-via they also criticized former Chief Secretary for his biased and partisan role in managing the carders and distorting KAS seniority. They blamed that the role played by Madav Lal has ruined the KAS carders which continuous to hunt them like a ghost for next twenty years. "The officers while addressing the meeting also criticized the initiatives by certain political quarters for promoting officers in special scale despite court stay and said that honorable court has allowed only dispensation on officiating bases up to the rank of Additional Secretaries and not as Special secretaries" they added. |
