Kathua, Mar 7 : One day Financial Literacy and Inclusion campaign was organized by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NBARD) to students on the Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Jakhbar. According to press release the main participants in Financial Literacy Campaign were Aman Kalsotra, DDM, NABARD, R K Kalsotra, Associate LBO, Kathua, Mahinder Kumar, Director, SBI R-SETI, Kathua, Som Raj Raghuvanshi, Principal, Jakhbar, R. Kacchru, Branch Manager, JKGB, Kathua and students of HSS, Jakhbar. On this occassion, he informed them about the initiatives undertaken under financial inclusion by NABARD. Financial inclusion means, access at a reasonable cost of all households and enterprises to the range of financial services for which they are "bankable," including savings, credit, leasing and factoring, mortgages, insurance, pensions, payments and local and international transfers. Mohinder Kumar, Director, R-SETI, Kathua informed the students about the training cum hostel facilities available at SBI, R-SETI, Kathua located at Shiva Nagar. He emphasized on the youth to plan for future and get them trained under specialized activity of their choice, which will earn them income. He also informed that training as per their choice will be provided to them. |
