| Sarpanches castigates state budget | | | et plus report
Kathua, Mar 7: Several Sarpanches of block Kathua have termed the budget as eyewash by the state coalition government to befool public representatives.
While lambasting on weak and anti people budged Yash Pal Raina, Ragunandhan Singh, Rajinder Singh, Vijay Padha, Mohan Singh, Sansar Singh, and Punjab Singh, alleged that the government has made the mockery of elected representatives of Panchayats by announcing remuneration @2000 per month as salaries.
They demanded constituency development funds for their Panchayats, instead of remuneration.
They also pointed out that MNRGEA was a flop show under which several due payments of various contractors was still lying pending with the concerned department. |
