| Police works out blind murder case | | | et plus report
Samba, Mar 7: With the arrest of Mangal Dass Bhagat alias Chotu S/O Bishan Dass, (2) Pawan Kumar Bhagat S/O Rashpal Chand, and Ramesh Lal S/O Krishan Chand, all Rs/O Bhagatpur Ramgarh, Samba, Samba Police has worked out the blind murder of one Salinder Kumar alias Sonu S/O Shri Bishamber Dass R/O Bhagatpur Ramgarh, Tehsil & District Samba within 24 hours.
The dead body was found in the field behind Brick kiln nearby village Bhagatpur, Ramgarh on the morning of 06.03.2013. On this, FIR No. 17/2013 u/s 302/34 RPC was registered at Police Station Ramgarh and investigation carried on. The 28 years old youth was missing from his house since the evening of 05.03.2013. Accordingly the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Ram-garh to conduct Post Mort-em through the Board of doctors and to take the investigation forward.
The Police Team headed by Inspector Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, SHO P/S Ramgarh under the direct supervision of Shri Israr Khan IPS, SSP Samba and Shri Ashok Singh, Dy. SP, SDPO Vijaypur launched a massive investigation and after identifying the youth started searching for the clues.
The hard work done by the Police team paid dividend when SHO P/S Ramgarh and officials of the Ramgarh unit of District Special Branch,
Samba managed to locate witnesses who had last seen the deceased in the company of 02 accused persons . Further investigation revealed that Ramesh Lal, Chowkidar of the Brick Kiln was also seen same night leaving the spot where the dead body was found. A manhunt was launched for these 03 accused persons which culminated in the successful tracing out of accused and their subsequent arrest in the wee hours of the morning. |
