BANDIPORA: Law Enforcement Officer for North Kashmir, Mr. A. Q. Shah along with his team made a surprise inspection of 16 fertilizer dealers in Sopore town during which 11 dealers were booked under the Provision of Fertilizer Control Act (FCA). On this occasion, the fertilizer stocks including 500 quintals of Urea, 50 quintals of DAP, 30 quintals of MOP, 20 quintals of CAN and 15 quintals of Biozyme were stopped for sale purpose, besides warning notices also were issued to 5 dealers with the directions to strictly adhere to the rules. Meanwhile, in a bid to overcome the menace of black marketing of fertilizers, the Law Enforcement agency of Agriculture department, district Baramulla raided the dealers of Sopore Town and stopped the sale of 500 quintals of Urea, 50 quintals of DAP, 30 quintals of MOP, 20 quintals of Calcium Nitrate and 13 quintals of Biozyme. During the checking, the dealers were warned of stern action for violating the norms and were asked to provide quality fertilizers for better yield. |
