| JKPA threatens to launch agitation | | | Et Plus Report
Jammu, Mar 25: J&K Pensioners Association (JKPA) Jammu's core committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Govind Ram Sharma, President of the Association at Jammu wherein the pensioners strongly condemned the State Govt. attitude for using dilly dallying tactics to deprive of the old pensioners/family pensioners of their genuine demands.
Speaking on the occasion, the speaker said that the denial of the 6 years pensionery benefits in favour of pre-1.1.2006 pensioners is beyond the parameters of justice and is quite irrational as such this needs to be considered by the state government and parity must be maintained between the Pre ando Post 1.1.2Q:06 pensioners.
The Association gives an ultimatum to the State Govt. to solve the issues within one month otherwise pensioners/family pensioners will have to lodge a strong protest to bring their issues to the notice of the state govt. next month. |
