| Altaf calls for proper use of TSP funds | | |
JAMMU: Minister for Forest, Environment and Ecology, Main Altaf Ahmad has called upon the concerned department to make best use of Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) funds so that benefits reach to the needy at the grass-root level in a time bound manner.
The Minister was addressing a large gathering of representatives of Gujjar and Bakerwal community of Chenab Valley at Patnitop, today.
The Minister asked the Gujjar and Bakerwal community to highlight their genuine demands at the appropriate forms in a systematic manner and identify the areas of importance so that the gaps are plugged accordingly. He said Government will address their issues on priority. He said Government was aware about the problems of nomad community and several welfare measures have been launched for them.
