JAMMU: Commissioner Commercial Taxes, Kifayat Hussain Rizvi, has clarified that the government or the Commercial Taxes Department has not made any changes or modification in the existing procedure of obtaining form VAT-65 from the dealer. Responding to continuous re-presentations and delegations from Chamber of Commerce and Industries Jammu and Kashmir, Traders and manufacturer Associations and United Trader Front Srinagar with regard to change in the procedure of receiving the statutory from VAT-65, he made it quite clear that neither the government nor the Commercial taxes Department has made any change in the existing procedure and in order to facilitate the dealers, there has been a long standing procedure that the dealers shall submit the statutory from with the transport agencies at Jammu Srinagar or District Headquarters before taking delivery of the goods from the transport agencies. |
