ANANTNAG: District Industries Centre (DIC), Anantnag organized an awareness camp for educated unemployed youth of Anantnag and Kulgam, so that they can be benefitted by the schemes and facilities provided by the Industries and Commerce Department.
Prominent industrialists, unit holders and educated employed youth attended the camp.
It was disclosed during the camp that department is providing 100 percent subsidy on D.G. Sets, 30 percent C.I.S on plant and machinery, 30 percent on pollution control equipments, 50 percent subsidy on research and development and 3 percent interest subsidy on working capital loan.
It was also given out that at present 219 Industrial Units are registered in district Kulgam, while as 33 Industrial plots have been distributed among unit holders in the district and 17 are to be distributed in near future among the industrial unit holders. As many as 96 units have been registered in district Anantnag during 2012-13 whereas 2028 units are functional in the district. |
