DODA: To discuss the cases of Missing / Killed persons for grant of Ex-gratia relief & Cash compensation, District Level Screening-cum-Coordination Committee meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Doda Mr. Farooq Ahmed Khan.
Senior Superintendent of Police Doda Mr. Arif Rishu, Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda Mr. Anil Koul, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Doda Mr. Niraj Kumar and representatives of CRPF and Army attended the meeting.
10 cases pertaining to missing/ killed persons were discussed in the meeting and 3 cases were finalized and relief was sanctioned .These include missing case of Shanker Lal S/o Ravaila Brehman & Miss Shanti Devi D/o Shanker Lal R/o Kalihand , Tehsil Doda, Death case of Riaz Ahmed S/o Sher Ali Jaral R/o Behota Doda and Death case of Mashqoor Ahmed S/o Ghulam Mohd. Malik R/o Roat , Tehsil Doda.
Besides, SRO-43 cases of next of kin of the persons and SPO’s who were killed in various militancy related incidents were also discussed in the meeting. 25 such cases were taken up in the meeting and 19 were approved. |
