| Ensure cent per cent achievement in 2013-14: Vikar to officers | | | BANIHAL: Minister of State for Technical Education, Power, CAPD and Information, Vikar Rasool Wani, convened a meeting of officers and officials of Rural Development department at Banihal on Sunday. The Minister asked the officers to evolve an effective mechanism to register cent per cent achievement in sanctioned plan 2013-14 for the department.
Assistant Commissioner Development, Ramban Mr Saleem Malik, DPO, PO, Xen, BDOs, other officers, officials and field functionaries of the department attended the meeting.
The Minister said that the aim of meeting is to discuss strategies for achieving complete targets under the plan in district Ramban. He also stressed upon the officers of engineering department to ensure quality and timely completion of ongoing works being executed under different centrally and state sponsored scheme.Vikar instructed the officers to ensure the completion of construction work of all Panchyat Ghars in next two month. He directed the Block Development Officers to review the functioning of the department at ground level thrice in a week in panchayats.
Vikar also reviewed the physical and financial achievements registered in 2012-13 against the Plan under various programmes in the district. He announced Rs. 1.5 lakh for renovation of each panchayat ghar in the area.
Later, the Minister inspected the pace of work on the guest house being constructed by PDD and asked the officers to speed up the pace of work so that it is completed within the shortest possible time.
