The State Data Centre shall enable aggregation of IT Infrastructure (Hardware, Storage, Networking and Software) and Management Resources and ensure better Operations, Standardization of Systems and management control leading to faster deployment and reduced costs, offering dynamic scalability as their demand grows including security related requirements and uptime of the highest order.
The data centre currently hosts GP Fund applications and some other applications of other departments are in the process of migration. The prestigious CCTNS project of Ministry of Home Affairs will be hosted on the data centric directly as and when it is completed.
