KARNAH: Interacting with the people of Sub Division, Karnah, District Development Commissioner, Kupwara, Mr. Itrat Hussain Rafique assured that the grievances of the people shall be looked into on priority basis to ensure availability of essentials and basic amenities including medicare, road connectivity, drinking water facility and power supply in the far flung areas of the district. This was stated by the District Development Commissioner while addressing a public grievance camp at Karnah here today. District Development Commissioner emphasized for availing the benefits of various schemes launched for the welfare and development of people in the district. He said that as many as 9064 families out of which 3580 BPL families and 2038 families under AAY are provided ration at 90 sale centres of CA&PD in the Sub Division. He also informed that adequate stocks of essentials with 12080 quintals of rice, 1056 quintals of sugar and 355 quintals of atta are available in the Sub-Division. As many as 12,000 students are enrolled in different educational institutions of Karnah for whom 130 school buildings are being constructed under SSA. |
