| Misbranded pesticides seized at Shopian | | |
SRINAGAR: To control the distribution of unauthorized and misbranded pesticides in Valley, Law Enforcement Agency of Agriculture Department inspected various godowns of dealers of pesticides in district Shopian and put on sale stop 36 litres of Contaf Plus from Reliance Pesticide Centre, 128 litres of Goldban from Madina Enterprises Bonabazar and 70 Kgs of Bendaco from Malik Agro Centre of Shopian town. The dealers have been booked for violation of Insecticide Act 1968 as the products have been found misbranded. The sale stop will be followed by seizures of stocks. |
