| DLRC meeting held at Shopian | | |
SHOPIAN: District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting of district Shopian for the financial year 2012-13 was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Mr. Mohammad Javid Khan here today.
The meeting was attended by Assistant General Managers of NABARD and Reserve Bank of India, District level Incharges of all line Departments and representatives of Banks.
The Lead Bank Manager briefed the meeting about the achievements adding that the credit outstanding of all the Banks as on March 31, 2013 has been registered as Rs. 464.18 crores against the deposits which stood at Rs.534.37 crores taking the CD ratio to 86.86 percent. The outstanding in priority sector on the date was Rs. 412.62 crores and during the fiscal Banks has disbursed Rs. 309.42 crores to 21741 beneficiaries against target of Rs.161.47 crores to 6421 persons.
The meeting was further informed that in Agriculture Sector, the Banks have disbursed Rs.272.69 crores to 16234 beneficiaries against the targets allotted as Rs. 107.74 crores to 4430 beneficiaries.
The meeting was further informed that in small and micro enterprises disbursement of Rs. 30.38 crores was made among 5253 beneficiaries. Similarly education loans of Rs.1.92 crores to 110 students and housing loans to the tune of Rs. 4.03 crores have been disbursed during the year in the district.
The District Development Commissioner, Shopian stressed for cohesive actions by Banks and line departments to ensure progress and prosperity of the district. |
