| Bailey bridge being completed within a week: DC | | |
BANDIPORA: The Bailey Bridge coming up at a cost of Rs. 89.37 lakh at Papachan Bandipora would be completed within a week’s time. He said that connecting Gamroo village with Gund Kaisar, Rs. 77 lakh stand incurred on this bridge so far. Taken up jointly by the Public Works Department and the 68th Engineers Regiment of Northern Command, the bridge would be purposeful in reducing the traffic pressure inside the Bandipora town besides boosting the economic activity for the entire population inhabitating the right bank of the Erin Nallah.
The District Development Commissioner on this occasion directed the engineers to accelerate the pace of work on this bridge and ensure its execution as soon as possible so that the dire need of the people is fulfilled. |
