RAMNAGAR: To take stock of problems and demands of the people District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Mrs. Yasha Mudgal held a public grievance redressal camp at Ramnagar, today.
Miss Deepti Uppal , IAS Probationer, Joint Director Planning, Mr. Rakesh Jamwal, Executive Engineers, PHE, PDD, PMGSY, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Horticulture officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Tehsildar, other district heads, Sarpanchs, Panchs, Lamberdars Chowkidars , prominent citizens and large numbers of people were present on the occasion. The problems and demands put forth by the people include, opening of another branch of J&K Bank, filling of vacant posts in various departments, new ambulance for Sub Divisional Hospital, Ramnagar, early completion of various PMGSY roads, shortage of drinking water supply, proper distribution of compensation under PMGSY, holding of awareness camps, better BSNL telecom services, construction of additional class room at GHS Badhole, opening of additional ration counter, reduction in un schedule power curtailment. After giving patient hearing to the problems and demands of the representatives of various areas of the tehsil, She issued on the spot instructions to various officers for their solution. The DDC assured the general public that such grievances camps would be organized in the tehsil to mitigate the genuine problems of the people at their door steps. She instructed the officers of different departments to organize awareness camps to make people aware about various centrally sponsored schemes at various places in the tehsil. |
