SRINAGAR: Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Mr. Ajaz Ahmad Khan has appealed the Patwaris to call off their indefinite strike and resuming their duties at once.
He said Government has examined their all demands on priority and shortly their genuine problems will be addressed.
The Minister discussed the demands of the striking Patwaris at a meeting held with the representatives of J&K Patwaris Association, here today and urged them to end their strike as Government has all sympathies with them. He assured them that Government will address their all genuine and outstanding issues at the earliest. He said that public is suffering for want of their services, therefore, they must understand the plight of the common man and end the stalemate.
Commissioner/Secretary Revenue, Mr. VinodKoul and other officers of the Revenue Department were present in the meeting. |
