BANIHAL: Minister of State for Technical Education, Information, Power, CAPD, Mr. Vikar Rasool today paid one day tour of far flung area of Soomber in Tehsil Banihal of district Ramban. The Minister was interacted with deputations at various places of the areas during the tour
While specking on the occasion Mr. Vikar said that the government is abreast with the problems being faced by the people living in hilly and far-flung areas of the State and every care is being taken to address the same within the shortest possible time.
The Minister said that electrification of the Soomber area would be completed in this year and examination centre for 10th class would be setup at high school Soomber from this year, he also sanction a kerosene oil depot for the area.
He directed the administration to ensure engagement of local youth in ongoing railway project in the area as per their skill and education, he asked the ACD to start the construction work of Ration Store at Soomber as early as possible, he also sanction Rs. 5 lakh for playground at H S somber.
Mr. Vikar announced a Vocational Training Centre, cutting and tailoring centre for the area, Primary school for Naka, fifty youth of the area to be send for technical training as required in projects being constructed in area as well as other part of the state and asked the youth to come forward for the Technical Training courses this will boost the employment opportunity for the youth, he said
Earlier Local representatives apprised the minister with demands and problems being faced by the people of the area.
ADC, Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Khan, ACD, Sleem Malik, TSO, officer of various different department Panches, sarpanches and prominent citizens of the area also present on the occasion. |
