| Sham inaugurates Galaxy Enterprises at Paloura, Jammu | | “Private sector main instrument in shaping future of nation” | |
JAMMU: Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Mr. Sham Lal Sharma today said that faster development of rural and far-flung areas of the state are receiving priority attention in the policy planning of the government. He said various schemes in industry, PHE, power, health, education, employment and irrigation have been initiated to reach out every area for balanced development of every part in the state. This was stated by the Minister after inaugurating a Galaxy Enterprises at Paloura Jammu. The model shopping complex has been equipped with all modern services co and authorized dealer of CERA products. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sham said that government is committed to provide improved facilities to the people especially to the rural and remote masses for uplifting their economic status. He said that central and state government has launched a number of welfare schemes for the people and asked them to come forward and avail benefits of these schemes. He also apprised about the different schemes especially designed for rural folk under PMEGP and KVIB. He said that government is providing attractive incentives and subsidies besides providing marketing facilities for their products. Maintaining that industry and other private sector is the mainstay of Jammu and Kashmir, Mr. Sham said that all out efforts will be made to make this sector to grow further and added that the sector provides significant succour to the development process and generation of employment for a large chunk of population directly and indirectly. He said that private sectors offer greater avenues of employment to educated youth for earning respectable livelihood and catapulting the welfare and economy of the state. Appreciating the effort of Mr. D. K. Sharma of M/S. Galaxy Enterprises, the Minister hoped that this type of private sectors will continue its better services with the same spirit and missionary zeal. He said that government wants massive participation of private institutions as well as NGOs in providing and helping better services and supplement government efforts in this regard. |
