SRINAGAR: Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services & Sports, Mr. Taj Mohi ud Din today visited Lalla Ded Hospital and took stock of the works on the additional block there.
During the visit, the Minister went round the upcoming additional block and reviewed the pace of works being undertaken. He also went round the spots where the shopkeepers are to be relocated and directed the completion of the process at the earliest.
Mr. Taj expressed dismay over the slow pace being shown by some engineering wings in completing their targets and directed them to finish up their assignments within a fortnight or the Government
would be constrained to take disciplinary action against non-compliant agencies and engineers.
The Minister directed dismantling of the existing toilet block to pave way for connecting all the blocks of the Hospital with each other. He directed the JKPCC to start the process from tomorrow.
Mr. Taj directed the engineers to complete all on going works at the Hospital within the shortest possible time so that it is thrown open to public shortly.
Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Mr. Farooq Ahmad Shah, Principal, GMC, Srinagar, Dr. Rafiq Pampori, Medical Superintendent, LD Hospital, Dr. Mushtaq Rather, HoD, Gynaecology, Prof. Shahnaz Taing, HoD, Anaesthesia, Dr. Basharat, officers and engineers of JKPCC, R&B, MED and other Departments accompanied the Minister during the visit. |
