| Red Cross Society, Education Department organize awareness rally | | |
REASI: The District Red Cross Committee in collaboration with Education Department organized an awareness rally from Government Girls Higher Secondary School Reasi in which thousands of students from different schools of Reasi along with Red Cross Volunteers participated.
The rally passed through different markets, bus stop and colonies of Reasi town and concluded at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Reasi.
Earlier, an awareness function was also organized by the District Red Cross Society Reasi in the school premises in which the District Development Commissioner Reasi, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary was the chief guest and the Chief Education Officer Reasi T L Bhagat was the guest of honour.
On this occasion, students from various government schools of Reasi presented their views on the World Red Cross day and its theme for this year ‘Voluntarism a Noble Cause ’. Speaking on the occasion, the DC appreciated the efforts of the Society for its contribution in the district. |
